Our 2021 Petit Verdot continues to showcase the remarkable consistency of our Dynamite Block planting. True to form, this thick-skinned variety delivers its signature deep color and concentrated profile, developed through patient farming and late-season harvesting at Moon Mountain Vineyard. While yields were notably modest in 2021, the wine maintains its characteristic density and structure, balanced by delicate floral aromatics. Our restrained oak approach allows the pure expression of this often-overlooked Bordeaux variety to shine through, highlighting why Petit Verdot has earned its place as a standout performer in our portfolio.
