As we bid farewell to our historic Moon Mountain Vineyard Zinfandel, we honor these remarkable vines that have defined Sonoma’s viticultural legacy since the 1880s. Their deep roots, extending 30 feet into our rocky hillsides, have produced wines of distinct mountain character for decades, through devastating fires, enduring droughts, and countless seasons. While Zinfandel is celebrated for its natural exuberance, our mountaintop expression has always showcased a more refined personality – one of elegance and complexity born of high-altitude viticulture. Though their natural lifecycle has come to an end, their legacy lives on in this bottle – a celebration of history, terroir, and the timeless pursuit of excellence in winemaking.
