Our Sauvignon Blanc is crafted in a traditional style reminiscent of the finest wines of Pouilly-Fumé. In 2022, this expression of a handful of unique Sauvignon Blanc and Musqué clones from the Moon Mountain Vineyard present a layered wine that pays homage to the Old-World style, elevating this wine into a realm of intricate depth and aging potential. Nestled along a volcanic ridge, our Sauvignon Blanc site is strategically shielded from the intense afternoon sun, preserving the wine’s lively acidity. Post-fermentation, precise layering is achieved as the wine is stirred on its lees and aged in both new and neutral French oak barrels, imparting a heightened richness and complexity that sets it apart from its New-World peers.
