The afternoon exposure and volcanic soil of Moon Mountain Vineyard produces bolder, more robust Merlot than typically seen from this variety. Though Merlot often comprises the majority of this blend, our Right Bank is a celebration of its opulent companion, Cabernet Franc. Its savory character boasts tremendous concentration, which is lifted and brightened by the bold, fruit-forward charm of Merlot from our Dynamite Block. Moving in tandem, these partners exhibit the classic power and elegance of the Saint‑Émilion estates in Bordeaux that serve as our inspiration for this wine.
