As Argentine Malbec continues to enjoy global favor, corresponding vineyard plantings in California remain modest. This is due in part to Malbec’s temperamental nature. In order for it
to flourish, well-drained soil and a defined temperature range are critical. Moon Mountain Vineyard delivers both – its elevation and rocky volcanic soil are superbly suited to Malbec’s exacting needs. The resulting wine boasts the bold, muscular profile of its South American counterpart, establishing our Malbec as the biggest and most masculine of all Repris wines.
