Our favorite Syrahs are savory and seductive, and few sites are suited to this hedonistic style quite like Moon Mountain Vineyard. The Dynamite Block at the volcanic summit of the mountain collects and conducts the daytime heat required to produce an immensely concentrated Syrah. Its dark, brooding profile is complemented by balanced acidity from cool mountain evenings.
