Left Bank showcases Moon Mountain Vineyard in its prime. Though the wine draws inspiration from Bordeaux, Left Bank’s true legacy is the enduring strength of this special place. A week- long heat wave shortly before the 2016 harvest concentrated the combination of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc into a powerful display of both masculinity and elegance. Despite the stress of the late-season temperatures, 20 years of comprehensive organic farming nurtured the mountain and ensured the hillside- grown fruit gained considerable complexity and depth under duress – the hallmark of a vineyard at its peak.
