Moon Mountain Vineyard
Left Bank
Bordeaux Blend
Wine Notes
We are ritualistic about placing wines produced from the Moon Mountain Vineyard in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s into blind flights with examples of similar age from some of the most revered houses in Bordeaux. We are always left impressed by how challenging it is to distinguish the wines from each other. With that in mind, we cannot wait to do the same with this wine 20 years from now! The 2011 Left Bank exhibits the dark nuance and rustic elegance that is expected in the best vintages of Bordeaux without sacrificing the refined texture that mountain-grown wines from the New World celebrate. Highly collectible. Patience is a virtue.
