Merlot is boldly reimagined with this explosive effort. Our aptly named Dynamite Block produces Merlot of weight and dimension to rival the robust Cabernet Sauvignon planted nearby. We first produced this wine in 2014 as a counterpoint to our beloved Right Bank blend. Our follow-up bottling proves equally compelling, with the variety’s signature brightness accompanied by the exceptional power and purity of hillside fruit.
