Chardonnay
Bismark Vineyard
2011 marked the second-coolest vintage on record in Sonoma since 1900; ideal growing conditions for Chardonnay. Tropical fruits, Asian pear and hints of citrus all manifest themselves on the nose and palate while traces of French oak frame and enhance the beautifully balanced fruit and underlying minerality. That said, this wine is mostly about Old World acidity and tension. It was a rare circumstance for Repris to acquire grapes from the tiny one-acre block in this vineyard. Our good fortune has produced this remarkable wine for you.
