Chardonnay 

Just miles from the Pacific Ocean in the rugged landscape of Mendocino lies the Alder Springs Vineyard. Stressed vines, like those on this vineyard site, yield exceptional grapes. 2011 provided the second coldest vintage on record and gave us grapes even more special. An abundant minerality plays the lead role with fresh cut ginger, green apple, apricot and Meyer lemon peel all playing their part. This wine is rich and full on the palate with subtle notes from the French oak integrating perfectly with the developed fruit.
