Cabernet Sauvignon, Moon Mountain District

This wine is a testament to everything we believe about hillside vineyards. The 2011 vintage presented a series of challenges stemming from it being the second coldest vintage on record in Sonoma since 1900. This Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from select vineyards within the Moon Mountain District AVA, including our estate at Moon Mountain Vineyard. These vineyards all share similar characteristics of southwestern aspect, permeable volcanic soil and high altitude. Despite its inherent challenges, 2011 was an extremely successful vintage for Repris as demonstrated by this ripe, balanced effort.
