Grenache is widely used in blends with other Rhone varietals. On occasion it can be found in 100% form showing the full potential of this grape. One sniff and you know why we chose to bottle this wine unblended. The ruby color brings with it aromas of dried cherry, boysenberry and blueberry. In the mouth those flavors combine with cranberry and anise along with overtones of white and black pepper leading to an exceptional blackberry finish. This wine has a lot of character. Enjoy this wine the next time you prepare lamb. You won’t be disappointed.
